V Edition of Pathfinder programme
From May 11 to May 15, CVI hosted five female students as part of a structured job shadowing programme. During the Pathfinder week, each participant was paired with a dedicated mentor — an experienced member of the investment team, including Partners and Investment Directors.
Throughout the programme, participants attended a wide range of meetings and sessions, including discussions on potential new investments, interactions with portfolio companies, Investment Committee meetings, and dedicated presentations covering key areas such as the investment process, credit analysis, valuation, and ESG considerations.
Below are some of the reflections shared following the latest edition of CVI Pathfinder:
“The Pathfinder programme provided a unique opportunity to experience the private debt investment process from the inside. Participating in investment committees and pipeline meetings transformed theoretical knowledge into practical understanding and confirmed my interest in pursuing a career in the investment industry.”
“Beyond the technical knowledge gained throughout the programme, Pathfinder offered an authentic view of day-to-day life in private debt. The experience increased my confidence, broadened my understanding of the industry and strengthened my motivation to continue developing a career in finance and investments.”
