A new edition of the Deloitte and PSIK report on the private debt market in Poland and Central Europe has been published. We are pleased to see that private debt financing is gaining increasing interest from entrepreneurs and PE funds in our region, and that CVI is strengthening its position as the largest investor in the market.

In the section presenting transaction examples, two private debt financing case studies provided by CVI have been featured.

• CTL Logistics is one of the largest private rail freight operators in Poland and Central Europe. Paweł Jacel said: “Thanks to the financing support from funds managed by CVI, the company was able to optimize its financing structure and unlock its growth potential.”
• Trend Group is a Polish glass manufacturer that acquired Gala Group, an international producer of candles and fragrances. Olaf Hofes commented: “The financing that we provided together with PFR enabled the owners of Trend Group to achieve a significant milestone while retaining 100% ownership of the company.”
