Pathfinder IV
We are pleased to announce the launch of applications for the fourth edition of Pathfinder, our week-long job shadowing programme for female students at economics and business universities who are interested in pursuing a career in private debt and private equity.
The programme forms part of our ESG strategy and is designed to support women in building careers in the investment industry. While women currently account for around 48% of entry-level roles, only 17% go on to reach board-level positions. Through Pathfinder, we want to play an active role in addressing this imbalance by showing students what day-to-day work in fund management, transaction analysis and other core investment activities looks like in practice.
Pathfinder is a one-week job shadowing programme during which participants work alongside CVI’s investment team and gain first-hand insight into the investment process — from project analysis to participation in team meetings and discussions with the Investment Committee. The programme also includes mentoring, helping participants make more informed decisions about their future career paths.
Previous editions of the programme welcomed students from, among others, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, the University of Warsaw, Kozminski University, Poznań University of Economics and Business, the University of Łódź, and the Cracow University of Economics.
