Corporate Bonds Congress
During the CEETA Corporate Bonds Congress, Marcin Leja, CEO of CVI, spoke about the key factors determining the success of corporate bond issuances and the growing role of the private debt market in corporate financing.
In the panel titled “What Determines the Success and Attractiveness of Corporate Bond Issues”, he emphasized that good financing requires proper alignment with the issuer’s needs. Increasingly, this means turning to private debt funds, which thanks to flexible and individually structured solutions can precisely address the specifics of a given project.
CVI’s mission for years has been to finance the growth of local enterprises, which is reflected in its approach to every project.
Marcin Leja also pointed out that the growing scale of assets held by private debt funds enables them to take on increasingly larger transactions, including in our region. An example of such deals is the EUR 100m financing for the Czech company OMNETIC. This means that CVI’s financing is becoming an alternative also for companies with significantly larger needs—needs that until now had been addressed exclusively by banks or large bond issuances.
