Elżbieta Winnik and Marta Płowiec discuss women in the investment industry
Elżbieta Winnik, CVI and Marta Płowiec, Lesław A. Paga Foundation met in a podcast to discuss why so few women still choose a career path in the capital markets, particularly in the investment field.
The speakers pointed out that this is due, among other things, to the limited accessibility of the investment industry to people still at the university stage. It was precisely in response to this need that the Pathfinder programme was created, giving female students an opportunity to see from the inside what working at an investment fund looks like and to decide whether this could be the right career path for them in the future.
The Lesław A. Paga Foundation also runs programmes that help students and graduates combine academic knowledge with practical investment experience through the Capital Market Leaders Academy, of which CVI is a partner.
