Conference "Polish institutional capital in private investments – why is it worth it?"

Rafał Lis, Managing Partner at CVI and Paweł Jacel, Partner at CVI and Board Member of Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (PSIK), participated in the conference “Polish institutional capital in private investments – why is it worth it?”. It was the first large-scale event dedicated to mobilizing domestic institutional capital for investments in private markets.

During the conference, numerous arguments were presented highlighting why investments by domestic financial institutions (such as pension funds, investment funds, insurance companies and banks) in private markets (private equity, private debt, and venture capital) are beneficial for them—offering attractive returns and diversification—but also crucial for the further development of Poland’s financial and capital markets.

Rafał Lis, in conversation with Tomasz Bardziłowski, CEO of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (pictured on the left), discussed the importance of private markets for the growth of the public equity market and the potential to strengthen cooperation between these two areas of the capital market.
