Growth financing for a bakery producing fresh and frozen bread – Nowel

Company profile:

Nowel is a Polish, family-run bakery based in Legionowo, specialising in large-scale production of frozen baked goods. The company primarily supplies large retail chains in Poland and also exports its products to foreign markets.

Purpose of the financing:

CVI’s collaboration with the Nowel bakery dates back to 2015, when a fund co-managed by CVI provided debt financing to the company. Subsequently, in 2016, the fund carried out a capital increase to PLN 30 million and acquired a minority stake in the company.

Thanks to the funds raised, Nowel financed its continued dynamic growth, including additional production lines and working capital.
