Paweł Jacel, CFA, Partner at CVI, was a guest on the program “Prosto z Parkietu,” where he discussed the benefits of investing in private debt.
The CVI expert emphasized that private debt is a relatively young asset class that has gained global popularity over the past decade. In Poland, investors’ awareness of what private debt entails has been steadily growing—CVI currently manages assets worth over 800 million euros, and by the end of the year, we have ambitious plans to reach the 1 billion euro mark.
Why invest in private debt?
The portfolios of our funds are managed by one of the largest and most experienced investment teams, and the diversification and additional security of investments translate into lower risk. We invest in various industries across the Central and Eastern European region, although the vast majority of our investments are in Poland.
