A few years ago, the private debt financing market in Europe was still relatively niche. Today, as shown in the latest Debtwire report, volumes have reached record levels, and the number of transactions continues to grow quarter by quarter. In the second quarter of 2025 alone, as many as 305 transactions with a total value of EUR 36.7 billion were completed – the highest result in the history of this segment.
