Women in the financial and investment industry
In the investment industry, despite the growing number of women in junior positions, their representation at the highest levels remains low. Globally, women hold about 20-25% of investment roles, but this percentage drops to 10-15% at higher levels of corporate hierarchy.
Elżbieta Winnik, Investment Manager at CVI, emphasized in Puls HR that it is important to acknowledge positive signals, such as the increasing number of industry events supporting women in financial and investment environments.
“More and more companies, including CVI, are implementing their own programs promoting diversity and inclusivity, aimed at supporting women in professional development and achieving top positions. At CVI, we have already organized two editions of the mentoring program Pathfinder, targeted at female students interested in building a career in the investment industry,” the expert said.
