Krosno Glass welcomes a new investor and sets ambitious growth plans

Krosno Glass, the iconic Polish glassworks with over 100 years of tradition, is entering a new stage of development. Noble Fund Mezzanine FIZAN, co-managed by CVI and invested in the company since 2019, has signed an agreement to sell 60% of its shares. The majority stake will be acquired by Iwona Pik, associated among others with the Polish Fish Holding. The new ownership structure is designed to enable dynamic growth and the return of Krosno Glass to the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2028.

– In 2028 we would like to take the company public on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. With revenues of around PLN 600 million, we expect approximately PLN 100 million in EBITDA. It would be a spectacular comeback for this historic brand, which was once among the first five companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. By increasing the share of our own brand in sales and implementing a marketing transformation, Krosno has a chance to become truly attractive for a wide range of investors –  says Marcin Leja, Partner at CVI.

CVI will remain a shareholder in the company with a 40% stake and, together with the new investor, plans to build a business worth several hundred million zlotys.
