CVI remains active at international private debt conferences
CVI remained a regular participant at key international industry conferences, even though 2020 was a difficult year for conferences. In Q4 2020, members of our team took part in panel discussions, sharing our unique insights into CEE private debt and how it was affected by the covid pandemic. Below is a brief summary of our activity:

SuperReturn Growth Markets brings together key players from all the world's growth markets. The conference is an opportunity to gain insight from local market experts and get to grips with the macro trends affecting the overall picture for growth market investing. Marcin Leja, managing director with CVI, spoke at the panel discussion “When and where to invest”. The panelists touched upon how flows of capital are correlated with performance, when to invest in the market cycle, analyzing cyclicality and how it plays out in various regions, where to look for the next opportunities as well as examining the level of post COVID-19 recovery in the key emerging markets.
LPGP Connect 5th Annual Private Debt Fundraising Europe
The European Private Debt Fundraising brings together LPs and GPs from the global private credit market to look at the latest developments and market trends. In its 5th year, the conference agenda was designed to give investors an in depth look at the most up to date issues and concerns for investment groups who currently invest in the asset class and those that are looking to learn more and navigate the many opportunities on offer. CVI participated in its record of 3 panels in one conference. Radoslav Tausinger, managing director, shared our views on the panel “From Crisis to Opportunity: Flexible & Bespoke Solutions”, Pawel Jacel, principal, spoke on the panel “Diversification, Alpha Generation & Risk Management”, and Emmanuel Daull, investment director, presented our investments on the panel “American & European Case Studies”
2nd Annual CFO/COO Private London Virtual Conference
This event focused on the latest issues for global debt fund managers looking to stay ahead of the competition. Over 40 industry leading speakers and solution providers explored the latest developments and solutions for the most pressing issues facing CFOs & COOs looking to deliver operational excellence and ensure they understand the best solutions currently available. CVI’s managing director, Radoslav Tausinger, spoke on the panel “Channelling Funds post COVID-19” sharing our experiences from the pandemic.
